Rules for Certification

At SAV Advisory, we follow a structured process to ensure that our certifications are issued correctly and meet the highest standards. Here’s what you need to know about our certification rules:

Before issuing a certificate, we confirm that all identified non-conformities from the audit have been resolved.

Appropriate certificate template based on the standard mentioned in the audit report is selected. Additionally, any updates noted on the Comment Sheets attached to the report are also reviewed.

  • The issue date is set to the date approved by the Certification Committee Chairman on the Audit Report Review form.
  • The certificate will have an expiration date set for three years from the issue date. For transfer cases or special instructions, different dates may apply.
  • For the initial certification cycle, the registration date is the same as the issue date of the first certificate.
  • If there is a gap between certification periods or if renewing after a lapse, the new certificate will have a fresh issue date and number, with no reference to the previous certificate.

Each certificate will include your organization’s name, base office, address, standard (with the issue year), and scope. We verify these details against the audit report and any attached Comment Sheets.

Our Scheme Manager reviews the certificate for accuracy before it is submitted to the CEO for signature. If the CEO is unavailable, the Scheme Manager can complete this process.

  • For organizations with multiple sites under the same certification scope, we may list all addresses on one certificate or issue individual certificates
  • with suffixes (e.g., 24-0001-QMS-ABC-01-a).
  • For group companies with different scopes, each site will receive a certificate with the appropriate name, address, and scope, and the same certificate number with a suffix.
  • For integrated systems covering multiple standards, the ACCREDITATION BODY accredited certificate will follow specific guidelines, while other certificates will use our standard format.
  • Revised certificates will include a revision suffix (e.g., v.00) while maintaining the original expiration date. The issue date will reflect the Certification Committee Chairman’s approval.
  • We update our client database with the new certificate details and review the final certificate for accuracy.
  • The completed certificate, along with a cover letter, logo rules, soft copies of logos, and a customer feedback form, will be sent to the address you specified. A copy of the certificate and supporting documents will be stored in your file or on our document server

The signed certificate is sent to the client at his address or any other address he has specifically requested. The certificate shall not be issued to any other person without a written approval from the client. The certificate docket shall contain at least the following:

    • Cover letter from SAV Advisory Inc.
    • Certificate
    • Rules accompanying the logo
    • Soft copy of the logos
    • Customer feedback form
