Suspension and Withdrawal of Certificate

At SAV Advisory, the suspension or withdrawal of a certification certificate is a serious matter and follows a detailed procedure. Here’s an overview of how this process works:

1. Grounds for Action

Grounds for suspension or withdrawal of certification are reviewed. If action is deemed necessary, will notify the client via registered mail or courier, detailing the decision.

2. Client Response

  • The client must respond to SAV Advisory Inc. within 14 days of receiving the letter.
  • If the response is satisfactory, we will issue a letter confirming and send it to the client.

3. Required Actions

If further actions are required, due dates will be set. We will review these actions to ensure they are completed effectively to avoid suspension or cancellation.

4. Failure to Respond or Act

If the client does not respond within 14 days, if the response is unsatisfactory, or if required actions are not completed on time, we may decide to suspend or cancel the certification.

5. Suspension or Cancellation

If cancellation is decided, we will suspend the client or remove them from the Register of Approved Firms. The client will be notified by registered mail or courier, and the cancellation may be publicized if necessary. The CEO’s decision cannot override the Committee’s decision.

6. Grounds for Suspension or Cancellation

  • Major non-conformance(s) not corrected within the specified time.
  • Improper use of the certificate, symbol, or logo not rectified.
  • Ceasing to provide the certified product or service for an extended period.
  • Persistent failure to meet certification requirements.
  • Failure to meet financial obligations to SAV Advisory Inc.
  • Formal request from the client to withdraw certification.
  • Breach of contractual conditions with SAV Advisory Inc.
  • Inability or unwillingness to conform to revised standards.
  • Serious or numerous complaints indicating a failure to maintain the quality management system.
  • Failure to allow routine surveillance audits.

7. Surveillance Audits

  • Routine surveillance audits must occur within 12 months of the last audit. If an audit is missed, the certification is suspended, and the client is requested to schedule the audit.
  • If there is a delay of up to 15 months, the audit time may be extended by 50% of the routine surveillance time. Completion of the audit within 15 months will not affect certification.
  • If the audit is not completed within 15 months, the certification is canceled, and the client will need to reapply for certification.

8. Special Conditions

In cases of strikes, natural calamities, or other exceptional circumstances, special considerations may be applied.

This structured approach ensures that certification is maintained fairly and consistently and helps us uphold the quality and integrity of our certification process.
